My husband found ‘At the Beach Retreat’ on Google earth and what a find!. It really is a magical place with everything… there to simply relax and enjoy. A perfectly comfy bed, sensational sunsets and delicious breakfasts beautifully presented to us on the patio. It was the perfect place to reconnect with our son and get to know his partner, made special by Nick and his wonderful family who made us most welcome and were so hospitable. Loved the experience. Had a nice staycation here to just unwind. Had a bit of a natural hydrotherapy session going with… the use of their sauna, hot tub and cold plunges in the ocean that is just a few steps from the door!read more

Loved my stay here! Very private and the view is great. Hot tub and sauna were nice and relaxing, bed was comfy, and… the place was very clean. Breakfast was good too! Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing place to stay in this area.read more

We went here to celebrate our 12yr anniversary and we are so glad we did, we had a wonderful time.Not only did we… stay relaxed and cool through the biggest heat wave in history, but every breakfast was delivered to our room or deck which ever we preferred and it was always delicious!Nick and Lise were always a pleasure to talk to.Not only did they supply us with everything we needed and more in our suite, but also water toys to enjoy as well.We came from just over the bridge in Langley, but felt as though we were on a true destination vacation. We loved our stay in the spa suite! It’s a super quiet and stunning waterfront view with a private rocky beach area… where our dog was able to go swimming. The suite was cozy and clean. The hot tub and sauna was so deluxe and relaxing, and we really enjoyed the daily breakfasts that Nick prepared for us. One afternoon, he even brought down two glasses of delicious rosé to enjoy in the sun! Recommend this highly for anyone looking to relax, and rejuvenate!read more

We had a lovely stay in the Spa Suite! The views from the deck are amazing and sipping a glass of wine in the hot tub… in the evening is a sure way to forget any stress you have. Couldn’t have been a better stay! Lovely hosts. Amazing breakfast. Great value. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Saw a… seal and lots of water birds. There is no oven so be prepared to either have meals delivered or go out or prep food that can be heated in a microwave. We brought a camp stove which helped. On the up side of that, they did the dishes! What a treat. We’ll be back!read more

Just went back for our 6th stay. There are little additions/improvements everytime we visit. Always enjoyable,… secluded, and relaxing. The whole place is super clean. It’s starting to feel like a second home! The bed is a comfortable down heaven. Sauna and private hot tub facing the water with comfy robes and plenty of plush towels make it memorable. Kitchenette is decked out with everything you would possibly need including cream for your coffee and orange juice. Cozy gas stove fireplace is great for a chilly night. Smart TV and fast wifi keep you entertained during hot tub breaks! Great neighbourhood for walks and close to Old Orchard Park to connect to nature. And can’t forget the super friendly hosts Nick and Lise and the huge amazing breakfasts Nick delivers right to your door. We’ll be back again.read more

My wife and I stayed in the Spa Suite this weekend and loved it. I would definitely come back as well as recommend this… BNB.We interacted mostly with the host Nick, who was a very gracious, friendly, and approachable host. We did not know what to expect when offered breakfast, but we were presented with such an amazing and delicious breakfast each morning. Truly above and beyond.The suite itself was very comfortable and clean, with easy access to a sauna and private hot tub. To say it was relaxing would be an understatement. The inlet was beautiful and made the start and end to each day very memorable.Finally, the location is still very central. It is only a short commute to everywhere we needed to be. Restaurants, grocery, and brew pubs were very easy to get to.If you are considering staying, do yourself a favour and do so.read more

Found this place on google maps, had a business meeting nearby, the area is quiet, port city. With pockets of shopping… and restaurants nearby. Though it felt secluded it’s still really close to city. The host nick was very friendly. He made the best breakfast, french toast I will never forget. The place was cozy and comfortable. With spa amenities. And a view that was so peaceful. Coming home to it was truly a treat. Being able to soak in a jacuzzi looking out to the water was very calming. Place was supplied with most basic essentials & topped off with some hospitable details like bottled water, orange juice, & coffee. I enjoyed the private sauna and the plush robes. The bed was very comfortable, clean linens, fluffy duvet & soft pillows. Even though my business trip didn’t work out as planned, it was a real delight to stay here.This place is great for a single person or couple.read more

The spa suite was the perfect place for our honeymoon. You get a good view of the water and mountain in your own… private hot tub. Nick and Lise were great hosts. They made us yummy breakfast even on Christmas day! We didn’t expect to find such a gem close to home. The views, the suite, and the people were awesome. Highly recommend!read more

My mother and grandmother stayed here when they came in from Ontario in July. I hadn’t seen them in a year and this… was the perfect place to have a gorgeous visit for the week! We booked the Spa Suite for our mini wedding ceremony on June 20th and we were thrilled with the room, atmosphere and… hospitality by Nick and Lise. The night before our wedding we enjoyed the hot tub and sauna for a little pre-wedding relaxation and on the day the upper and lower deck provided us with enough space to host our celebration. The bed is very comfortable and linens were fresh and smelt great! The suite has everything you could need and we will be returning!read more

Our stay at the Beach Retreat was a weekend we won’t forget soon. Our friendly hosts Nick and Lise were wonderful,… as was the delicious breakfast that was served each morning. It is a beautiful private cozy room with gorgeous views of the inlet , and we made full use of the amenities including the sauna, hot tub and spacious deck which provided for an amazing sunset and a view of the inlet to die for.
