Welcome to At the Beach Retreat, a luxury Port Moody bed and breakfast in British Columbia. A perfect alternative to a hotel or motel. Our B&B is situated right on the beach, providing you with a breathtaking ocean view. We offer cozy accommodation with a fireplace and robes, making your stay comfortable and relaxing.

Our optional gourmet breakfast is delivered to your suite, ensuring that you start your day on a delicious note. You can enjoy your breakfast while taking in the stunning view of the ocean from your private hot tub.

Our B&B is perfect for those who want to relax and unwind. Our Spa Suite offers a cedar sauna, a mini kitchen with all the items needed for a relaxing vacation or business trip, and a separate entrance with a code lock. The Queen bed features luxury linens and views of the ocean and high definition television. Robes and quality quilts allow you to enjoy the cozy fireplace and covered patio year-round.

We are located near Newport Village with fine restaurants and shops, hiking trails, and fun. Come and enjoy our sandy beach and dock. We look forward to hosting you soon!

Spa Suite

Soak in your own waterfront private hot tub while enjoying a glass of wine and the amazing view of the Pacific. The Queen bed features luxury linens and views of the ocean and high definition television. The suite also offers a cedar sauna plus mini kitchen with all the items needed for a relaxing vacation or business trip. Robes and quality quilts allow you to enjoy the cozy fireplace and covered patio year round. People come for romance and relaxation and often return time after time.

Optional Gourmet breakfasts for two are delivered to your suite at 9 AM on weekdays and 9:30 AM on weekends.

Extra person or child is $35.00 per night, includes towels and bedding for premium rollaway cot, $45.00 with breakfast.

We welcome well behaved pets, there is a $45.00 extra cleaning fee per visit.

This place is lovely - the hosts are  accommodating, personable and lovely to deal with.  Everything you would need is right there at your fingertips and the views from your window are enchanting - seals, the sea and comfort galore.  I will definitely return. A really fantastic, comfortable haven in a beautiful neighbourhood - really close to nature and the beach. Perfect for complete relaxation. The location of the retreat is beautiful - ocean front. But also well connected for travel to downtown Vancouver.
The facilities are amazing - sauna, kayaks, hot tub, huge deck with loads of seating options, barbecue, log burner, bath robes, toiletries. Everything was spotlessly clean too. Our hosts, Annette and Lise spoiled us rotten! They were the perfect hosts and made us feel completely at home, as though we were among friends.
Breakfast was great - really fresh and flavourful ingredients - yogurt with fresh fruit, flaky croissants, delicious raspberry conserve, tasty bacon, 2 eggs, sauteed potatoes, fresh tomatoes, perfectly toasted bread with butter.
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay ladies. We only wish we could have stayed longer. We hope you return and would highly recommend the retreat.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had such a wonderful stay and can’t recommend this place enough. The suite was beautiful, cozy and the view overlooking the water was absolutely breathtaking. I spent so much time just relaxing and taking it all in.

Being able to use the kayak was such a thoughtful touch and one of the highlights of my stay. I also loved unwinding in the hot tub and sauna, they made for the perfect peaceful retreat.

The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment I arrived. They made me feel completely at home while also giving me plenty of privacy, which I really appreciated.

Thank you for creating such a special place. I left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already hoping I’ll have the chance to come back one day!
