How to get here

WHERE WE ARE LOCATED

We agree completely and are very happy to provide you all of the above and more, whether you are visiting family from overseas or looking for a very romantic getaway with that special person consider our home your sanctuary.

HOW TO GET HERE

From Vancouver Airport
(click to open)

  • Take Grant McConachie Way north
  • After bridge over Fraser, take SW Marine Drive east
  • Left on Boundary Road and continue for 9 km
  • Turn right on Hastings Street and continue for approx 5.8 km
  • This turns into the Barnet Highway (slight left curve in highway)
  • Continue on highway around Burnaby Mountain (past Kask Bros cement, Velodrome, Barnet Marine Park, Reed Point Marina).
  • Turn left at St. Johns Street/Highway 7A (Craftsman Collision at intersection)
  • Continue for 2.7 km through Port Moody
  • Take first left after Golden Spike Pub (Ioco Road) (Westwood Honda, Esso at intersection)
  • IOCO Road is third set of lights – turn left
  • Continue for 1 km and see sign for Old Orchard Park – turn left
  • Keep to your right, this is Alderside Road – cross the railroad track
  • Carry on to 872 Alderside – we are about 30 house along the road
  • Park on the right side of the road or back into our driveway

From Vancouver or Burnaby

  • Take Hastings Street east
  • Continue through north Burnaby

From Abbotsford, Surrey
or south of the Fraser (click to open)

  • Take Highway 1 west over Port Mann bridge.
  • Take first exit (Exit #44, “Coquitlam Port Moody”)
  • Follow signs to Highway 7 east (signs say Coquitlam City Centre – Port Moody)
  • Continue on Highway 7.
  • Turn left at Coquitlam Centre/Coquitlam Chrysler, just past railway underpass
  • Continue west along Barnet Hwy/7A through Coquitlam for 2.3 km to Port Moody welcome sign.
  • Just past sign, turn right on Ioco Road (at Esso station).
  • IOCO Road is third set of lights – turn left
  • Continue for 1 km and see sign for Old Orchard Park – turn left
  • Keep to your right, this is Alderside Road – cross the railroad track
  • Carry on to 872 Alderside – we are about 30 house along the road
  • Park on the right side of the road or back into our driveway

From New Westminster

  • Take North Road north (past Lougheed Mall). North Road becomes Clarke Road near Burquitlam Plaza (Value Village, Safeway).
  • Continue north, past Port Moody welcome sign and down steep hill. Road curves eastward. At intersection at bottom of hill continue straight (east).
  • You are now on St. Johns Street/Highway 7A.Continue for 2.7 km through Port Moody
  • Take first left after Golden Spike Pub (Ioco Road) (Westwood Honda, Esso at intersection)
  • IOCO Road is third set of lights – turn left
  • Continue for 1 km and see sign for Old Orchard Park – turn left
  • Keep to your right, this is Alderside Road – cross the railroad track
  • Carry on to 872 Alderside – we are about 30 house along the road
  • Park on the right side of the road or back into our driveway
